Social Emotional Learning

A School Social Worker and Guidance Counselor are available for scholars needing academic or personal support. All information shared is confidential, except in cases of threat to the scholar, risk of self-harm, threat to others, or with the scholar’s explicit permission.

Community Partnership Team

The Community Partnership Team identifies school community needs and connects families to community resources. They also coordinate Parent University, an initiative run by the Parent Coordinator and Social Service Providers. This team serves as a vital bridge between Summit Academy families and the broader Brooklyn community, ensuring every family has access to the support they need.
